Do you remember your first kiss??? Well, it seems they are starting out even younger than I can remember as Jake got his very first kiss today and he's only in grade 2! WOW!!! His little girlfriend Shaina ran up after school and gave him him a big kiss before running off leaving Jake feeling a little shocked and embarrassed at the same time, lucky Mum was there to help him walk to the car or I think he would have had a bit of trouble getting there lol. Oh...to be young again...Isn't young love grand!

I remember when I was 5, I had a crush on a boy named John, he was in my class and boy, was he a good artist. I asked him if he could draw Snoopy for me and he drew it right away, there at his desk and handed it to me. I was so thrilled that I ran up and kissed him on the cheek, right in front of the whole class. I wasn't embarrased but let me tell you, he sure was. It was a cute moment though, that I guess I will always remember.

Haha...yes I remember my girls both being the kissers not the kissee. Cute when they are young but a bit of a worry now they are teenagers....hhmmm not so cute.

Yes it is exciting!! We bought land a while ago, so that's all good. We have built and renovated before, but because I am now working for a building company I have found it all too confusing because there are so many ideas (but the budget only stretches so far!).
I have finally decided on my house plan, it has been priced up and I am happy. Now there is a long process of the drawing/contracts/council to get through. It will start in about 3 months.
I have decided on a bit of modern-chic. Picket fences, all white walls, floorboards, chandelier etc. But my bathrooms and kitchen will be modern and fresh. Finally it has all come together in my mind!
Have you decided on plans etc?

Siobhan, That is such a sweet story! Young love is grand.
How sweet! My daughter has a best friend that's a boy and she's known him since they were both babies. They both say that they love each other and are going to get married someday. :) They've had their fair share of smooches, and I think the first was when they were about 2 years old! They are so sweet and innocent!
