Hi everyone, yes I'm still very much alive...very tired but alive! We have been very busy enjoying the festivities at school in preparation for Christmas. We had the yearly carols last week as well as a school outing to the movies to watch High School Musical 3, musical concert this week where my beautiful Jake played his guitar fantastically, we are very proud of our sweet little man!
We have also been preparing lots of bits and pieces for our new home that we hope to start working on next year...I'm just popping all the window sizes in at the moment, choosing materials and all those sorts of things. I have to say...it makes me crazy at times but I know it will be well worth it in the end. We have now decided on another home...yes...a whole new design this time...Cane and I have been working really hard to get it all right with lots of late night or should I say early mornings? Its taking sometime to draw up all the plans as we are putting an in ground pool & gazebo with a joint pool house/shed in the backyard before the house goes up so its better to have them all on the same plan so we can get all the permits together. Oh and I forgot to say...we will now be going owner builder as we found out the hard way all builders are the same...like car sales men, they do anything to get you to sign up and then change their ways! I think it will be allot of extra work going this way but very rewarding in the end and at least this way I can make sure things are exactly the way we want them!
So please excuse my absence in blogging as it really has been difficult for me to find anytime for myself lately. Hope you are all doing well and I look forward to catching up with you all soon.

Hi Siobhan, wow you and Cane are going to be so busy. Sounds like fun though.
It sure is the busy time of year. We had a school concert last night and Friday night we are off to a creche/kinder graduation. Such fun to watch them grow,
Alison
Hi Siobhan,
You've been so, so busy! How fun the guitar musical Jake was in - bet he had a wonderful time.
Don't worry about being away... I will just be packing my bag, getting ready to visit you and using your pool, pool house and living the life of a movie star. I'm going to start packing right now to come see you. So good luck with the plans ;)
I miss you in blog land but will talk to you soon, sweet friend.
