I've been wanting to do up some of my furniture for awhile and now that spring has sprung I've decided to get busy with it. The other day I had a package arrive and look what was inside...
Appliques, appliques and more appliques!
I brought these from a lovely lady in the U.S at Do It Yourself Chic and I have to say they are just wonderful!!! I wish I bought more now lol. Oh well, I can just see myself ordering some more in the next week or so. Below is one of the projects I am working on now...
I'm hoping to finish this piece soon so I will post some more photos then.Have a wonderful week!

ReplyDeleteOn a lighter note I think your blog is so pretty and couldn't believe your last post as I too need to get some furniture appliques as I have many projects waiting.. the project you are working on now looks great! I will check out that website you purchased them from. You know I have one of your mosaic pieces that was round like plate with a rose in the centre, painted by Gail and your mosaic work on the rim. I have it sitting on my kitchen bench and is one of my favourite pieces. Ok, will go check out your website now and by the way will add you to my sidebar aswell, thank you!! take care, Maryann
Wow wee I cant wait to see your finished furniture! I've been meaning to order some of those too, must get on with it as I have a few pieces I want to finish as well. Still too cold up here though!

Hi Siobhan, good grief how long has it been since I visited your blog (actually any at the moment, way too many problems up here, just want 09 to end) but cannot believe when I do you posted about *these* have been hunting for over 18 months in Oz looking for some for my Wardrobes & now, thanks to you Sweet, I know where to buy them....
