Dreaming of Pools!

Well its another hot day in Melbourne and I can not help but think about pools since we will be putting one in our new backyard. Its days like this that I wish we were all done and moved in enjoying the hot summer splashing around! I was looking for inspiration via google and found these two lovely pools below...

Who wouldn't enjoy these???

My son Jake is trying out for the swimming squad at school this Monday, he has been really nervous in the past over tryouts but this years hes feeling OK about them and decided he wants to give it a go. I'm so proud of my little fish...well...maybe I will have to stop calling him my little fish since he is in gr4 this year but hey, I think we always see our children as our babies don't we?

Have fun and stay cool!

  3. Hey Siobhan,
I am loving the the first picture...I lurve the idea of some type of pagola & then a structured building behind it....imagine yourself on a nice big fancy chaise lounge sipping cocktails, ok a girl can dream!

  4. I always said I didn't want a pool but now that we have one I wouldn't be without it. The kids are in it almost every day and I like that their friends are here too.

Hopefully you will have yours in ready for next summer.

    Good luck to Jake.

  9. Yes isn't it stinking hot. I am so over it... and the electricity bills. I agree, they are always your babies... the cuddles and kisses will never stop even if I have to get them in a head lock. A-M xx
